Hapo Front
Hapo Front Step-by-Step Guide:
Donning Exo Harness:
Put on your exoskeleton like a backpack.
Clip the waist belt and tighten it so the buckle is in the middle. (Position the buckle in the middle by adjusting both straps, then simultaneously pull both waist straps out in front of you to tighten the buckle while keeping it centered) The belt should sit comfortably and snugly above the hips. Stow the excess strap using the elastic bands on the belt.
Adjust the side straps under the armpits to fit the exo harness comfortably to the shoulders.
Fasten the chest strap using the magnetic clip and adjust as needed.
Attaching Spring Arms:
5. Pull up on the red tab to release the spring arm from the shoulder strap.
6. Position your elbow into the middle of the arm cuffs and tighten both the bicep and forearm straps so that the cuff is snug.
7. Do the same for the other arm.
Adjusting springs:
The spring arms can be adjusted to fit different body morphologies.
8. Slide the arms from left to right on the waist belt base using the black pull pin. Adjusting to setting one will place the springs more on the side of the body, and adjusting to 5 will place the springs directly over the shoulders.
9. Lengthen or shorten the length of the spring arms by pressing the metal ball push pin and sliding up or down in the telescopic tube. Springs can be raised to remove contact of the spring from the back, or down, for a closer fit.
To remove:
Follow these steps in reverse order.
Tip: Make sure you re-attach the spring arms to the harness shoulder straps (using the bicep strap with as much slack as possible) and use the magnetic clip to secure it. This will ensure easier storing and donning the next time you want to wear your exoskeleton.
